چکیده
A terminal molybdenum arsenide complex is synthesized in one step from the reactive As(4) molecule. The properties of this complex with its arsenic atom ligand are discussed in relation to the analogous nitride and phosphide complexes.

Arsenic - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Arsenic is the chemical element that has the symbol As, atomic number 33 and atomic mass 74.92. Arsenic was first documented by Albertus Magnus in 1250.[4] Arsenic is a notoriously poisonous metalloid with many allotropic forms, including a yellow (molecular non-metallic) and several black and grey forms (metalloids). Three metalloidal forms of arsenic, each with a different crystal structure, ...
متن کاملCOMPACT and molecular structure in toxicity assessment: a prospective evaluation of 30 chemicals currently being tested for rodent carcinogenicity by the NCI/NTP.
A new series of 30 miscellaneous National Toxicology Program chemicals has been evaluated prospectively for carcinogenicity and overt toxicity by COMPACT (Computer Optimised Molecular Parametric Analysis for Chemical Toxicity. CYP1A and CYP2E1). Evaluations were also made by Hazardexpert, and for metal ion redox potentials; and these, together with COMPACT, were compared with results from the A...
متن کاملShewanella sp. O23S as a Driving Agent of a System Utilizing Dissimilatory Arsenate-Reducing Bacteria Responsible for Self-Cleaning of Water Contaminated with Arsenic
The purpose of this study was a detailed characterization of Shewanella sp. O23S, a strain involved in arsenic transformation in ancient gold mine waters contaminated with arsenic and other heavy metals. Physiological analysis of Shewanella sp. O23S showed that it is a facultative anaerobe, capable of growth using arsenate, thiosulfate, nitrate, iron or manganite as a terminal electron acceptor...
متن کاملTriple-bond reactivity of an AsP complex intermediate: synthesis stemming from molecular arsenic, As(4).
While P(4) is the stable molecular form of phosphorus, a recent study illustrated the possibility of P(2) generation for reactions in organic media under mild conditions. The heavier group 15 element arsenic can exist as As(4) molecules, but As(4) cannot be stored as a pure substance because it is both light-sensitive and reverts thermally to its stable, metallic gray form. Herein we report As(...
متن کاملNew hybrid nanomaterial derived from immobilization of a molybdenum complex on the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes
In this work, we report a new well dispersed molybdenum complex attached through the mediation of aminopropylsilyl groups on the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). The prepared hybrid nanomaterial was characterized with different physicochemical methods such as Fourier transform infrared and atomic absorption spectroscopies, transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-...
